Greenery Quilt Finished!

I love how this quilt turned out. When I pulled it out of the dryer I wanted to curl up in it and take a nap. I'm always ready for a nap!

But it was a gift.

A gift now on its way to northern Wisconsin to keep loved ones warm.

Details:
Four patch quilt made from mostly stash fabrics and measures 74"X74". I used cross-grain binding and bamboo and organic cotton blend batting. I love the bamboo/organic cotton batting. Its warm, but not bulky, and it quilts wonderfully. More details and a photo of the complete top are here.

Hmmm, any chance it could get "lost in the mail" on it's way? It looks lovely. What weight is the bamboo/cotton batting?

Nice green quilt. Someone will stay warm under this beautiful blanket. I like to use up my stash also. Then I don't feel quite as guilty for having so much fabric. :) Linda

The batting is 1/8" thick, so its very thin, but warm. Y'know, I don't think I've seen the bamboo/cotton batting any thicker. I'm sure they sell it somewhere...just not at Joanns. I'll have to look online because I'd like to have some 1/4" thick stuff.

I haven't made too many quilts, but like a thinner batting, too. Great color choice.
