Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend
Oh yea. The Designer Diamond. I can't wait to unpack it and set it up. This was my other big purchase besides the Huskylock 936. I had a Designer SE Limited Edition and decided to upgrade to the Diamond. Truth be told, this is more machine than I'm ready for (as was the Designer SE), but I HAD to have it. Especially since my dealer gave me the purchase price of my Designer SE to put towards the price of the Diamond. I'm working on a few embroideries...hopefully I'll get to them before Christmas.

Bummer about the Super Why! Nothing half a bag of cookies can't fix...ha!
Can't wait to see what this beauty of a machine can do. THanks for all of your help yesterday. It was a long day of machine shopping but I think I made a good decision. Talk to you about it later.
Woah. I am deeply desirous of a new sewing machine after seeing yours! (My mom is getting a new one for their anniversary in February, I have to hold out long enough to buy her old one!)
Hope the cookies were enough to take your mind off the pain. *grin* Come on over for a little drink if not! (just bring your overlock)
So cool, I'm jealous you know how to work a sewing machine....I thought of you, my November Martha Stewart Magazine had these really cute felt slippers in it I would love to make for x-mas gifts, but I need a sewing machine!! Oh well.
congrats on the new machine.
I got a mailing the other day on this machine and now know which one it is - I'm excited to see what it can do through your projects! Sorry about the costume. I've never sewn a Burda pattern either but I have to admit I've been intimidated by them.
How exciting for you - a new machine! And I'm glad you like the patterns....that's a bummer about Super Why

My friend has one. That sucker hums beautifully. I never knew you could tell right off the bat a good machine from a bad one until I heard her big H. :)
