So Much To Create...So Little Time!

I had to switch yarns for my crocheted toddler dress because I couldn't get the gauge right. Here's the new yarn and my progress so far. I have a feeling I'll finish this dress and Sunny will grow out of it in a week. Both my girls are growing leaps and bounds lately. Elle seems to have gone from a size 9 month straight to an 18 month size! Sunny is still in a 12 month, so this dress is for her. I also found abetter dress to knit. It isn't a hoodie, but its darn cute and just what I was looking for. The problem is that while searching for the perfect first knitted garment project, I came across SO many other projects I'd like to knit. The following two are definitely in my knitting future:

The above pattern can be found here.

This one can be found here.

I'm nervous about knitting patterns since I've never knitted anything from a pattern. Armhole and neckline shaping makes me nervous! Hopefully the crocheted toddler dress I'm working on won't be too difficult.

Speaking of so much to create and so little time, I've been wanting to make pants for all three of my kids and an Amy Butler tunic for me. Geez, I don't know how so many of you find time to finish projects. My kids keep me SO busy its a miracle I've been able to finish the few things I have finished. I guess it gets easier as the kids get older...at least, I hope it does!

I think it's a miracle that anyone with kids can craft and blog in addition to the billion other things they do all day long, including you! If I had kids, I'd be telling them it was Pop Tarts again for dinner because Mommy is busy reading blogs. Hah!

Patty,
That's too funny! Sometimes I think Pop Tarts would be a perfectly reasonable option for dinner!! lol!

I heart both of those dresses! But cannot start another knitting project until I (find and) finish the baby cardigan and lace scarves I'm working on. (and I'm 32 and we had pop tarts for dinner a few days ago...)

I admire you. I don't know how to knit, but just crocheting a child's hat is a daunting task for me.

I am still struggling with knit. I think I am about to break down and go looking for some tutilage. Geneva has a great yarn shop with classes. I guess I can't teach myself everything:) Especially now that you introduced me to such ADORABLE patterns! You must keep me posted on your progress.
