The Sunny Bunny Is So Darn Cute!

I love that Sunny likes to have pictures taken of herself. When I point the camera at Elle she makes horrible faces and yells at me!! Yikes! So if you see pictures of only Sunny in things I make it isn't because I prefer her. Its because Elle rips hats off her head and throws them on the floor before I can take a photo and she practically growls at the camera. Sunny is a little ham and loves to model. Actually, she loves to see herself on my computer. Anyway, here's a hat I knitted for Elle, but Sunny is modeling it for her:


Its the Rib-A-Roni hat; a free pattern on Ravelry.com. I love this hat and am making two more, one for Luke and one for Sunny. The one Sunny is wearing now is great, but I think I'm going to rip it back to before the decreases and add half an inch or an inch. I'd like it to be a little lower so it covers her ears better. I used Red Heart Kids yarn on 16" size 7 Addi Turbo circulars. The yarn felt really scratchy to me at first, but after I washed it it softened up a bit. Sunny wore this hat almost all day long, so it must not be itchy.
